Barbering
This programme offers an individualised curriculum designed to prepare you for the world of work. You will gain real experience and knowledge of working in the Barbering industry, whilst training with highly skilled staff at ALD and on your work placement. You will also improve your communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

The Learn to Work Programme will also include:
Personal Social Development, Employability Skills, Maths and English (Functional Skills to GCSE), Digital Skills, and British Values.
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements. Individual needs will be assessed at the interview to ensure you are enrolled in the most suitable programme.
Progression Routes:
We have apprenticeships available through our Salon Pathway Programme. You will undertake a period of work placement to enable you to put your new skills into action.
Remote Learning:
All theory elements of each course can take place remotely with staff completing regular welfare checks. Training will be given to learners and policies will need to be discussed and acknowledged, before remote learning takes place.
