Forest School Winter Walk

The new term at forest school went off to a great start on Friday. The learners explored and connected with nature through hands-on experiences. We went on a winter walk to engage and explore the natural world by using our senses to explore the snow, ice, and frost.

The learners listened to the crunch of snow underfoot and also to hear the breaking of ice, they were also able to feel the cold touch of ice as well. They got to see the delicate patterns that was made by the frost and ice too. They even got to smell the crisp, fresh air. This sensory exploration not only fosters a deeper understanding of the environment but also promotes curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder about the changing seasons.
