This week we had a very cute visitor to our Solutions HUB. One of the newest additions to the farm, came indoors with Ellie from the facilities team. Staff were thrilled to see the little one inside.

This week, the construction vocation learners have been putting their practical skills and knowledge to the test, as well as their teamwork, when they were able to visit the on-site farm and carry out some repairs to fruit and vegetable planters there. 

We have now introduced a free breakfast club two mornings per week. With some donations from our Tesco Community Champion – Karen, alongside other items, we were able to put together a range of breakfast options for our learners.

This week in Functional Skills English, learners have begun to sit their Speaking & Listening Exams. In preparation, they have chosen a topic that they know and love, carried out research, and prepared a talk or presentation on the topic.

In Motor Vehicle we have received a new arrival! A new car has been donated to us for use by our learners in the garage. 

Learners on our bespoke programme have been focusing on life skills and independent living sessions. We began the day looking at what we can do and what we need to practice more.
