Transition to post 16 Programme 
The transition to Post 16 learning can be a big step and very daunting for some. Our engagement programme is a stepping stone for the next phase of the journey into adulthood. 

This part-time programme runs for one term (on average 12 – 14 weeks). Learners will work in extremely small groups of 1:3 to allow them to explore barriers to learning and develop strategies to progress to either our full-time PREPARE for Adulthood study programme, other further education programmes or employment. 

Learners will be allocated 1-1 time each week with a designated tutor. This allows for honest and open discussions about any anxieties or issues that they may be facing. The intent is that by taking a personalised Solutions focused approach, learners will develop the skills and confidence to reengage with learning, create positive relationships with others and make progress towards achieving future goals.
