Placements

We recognise the importance of preparing our learners for the next step in their journey towards successful careers. Skills developed through work-related training and external work placements can enable our learners to progress into employment, training, an apprenticeship or further study.

We receive learners at various stages of preparedness to undertake external placements.

We will assess the individual needs of each learner and will work with them to plan relevant work experience. In many cases, this will mean an external placement with one of our varied local businesses and organisations with which we work. These are vetted and monitored by qualified members of the Trinity Solutions staff.

Members of our team will work towards sourcing suitable placements for individual learners. However, learners are encouraged to make their own enquiries with local businesses. Travel to and from work placements are reimbursed through the bursary scheme. Those young people entitled to a free school meal will receive an additional £2.53 to cover the cost of lunch for each day that they attend an external placement.
